In A Bounty of Particles, Susan Klein considers the world as an accumulation of fragments, gestures, and shifting relationships. The exhibition draws attention to the small and seemingly ordinary, revealing how individual elements gather to form something expansive, abundant, and alive. Klein’s work invites viewers to slow down and consider the delicate connections between material, memory, perception, and place.
Susan Klein is a Charleston-based artist and Associate Professor of Art and Chair of the Studio Art Department at the College of Charleston. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions in New York City and Berlin. She has participated in artist residencies throughout the United States and abroad, including programs in New Zealand, Finland, and Vermont.
