Norwood Gallery is an artist-run contemporary art space in Savannah, Georgia. The gallery presents exploratory, conceptually grounded, and materially engaged work by artists and curators.
Founded by interdisciplinary artist Sharon Norwood, the gallery grew from a desire to create an artist-centered space that supports experimentation, meaningful exchange, and thoughtful presentation. Norwood brings her experience as an exhibiting artist and educator to the gallery’s programming and approach.
Exhibitions are developed through dialogue and presented in flexible formats that support experimentation, critical inquiry, and thoughtful installation. The gallery welcomes both evolving and resolved projects, allowing each exhibition to respond to the work and the needs of those presenting it.
Norwood Gallery values artistic autonomy, conceptual clarity, and the exchange of ideas. Its program includes gallery-organized exhibitions, independently curated projects, and artist-centered programming.
The gallery is available for short- and long-term exhibition rentals, with limited availability for private art events, small-scale workshops, and photo shoots.
